Finally, here are just a few tips to be thinking about to help you get the most from your festive training and to keep you in Santa’s good books.
Don’t stop training
It’s really important for you to keep training during the holiday period. Don’t let a few days or a week ruin all the hard work you have put in during the year. Keep your strength and muscle tone up. It doesn’t matter if you’re not attending as often, but a small amount will go a long way to keeping you focused.
Think about your nutrition
Without sounding like that humbug fellow, keep an eye on what you eat and drink. Particularly quantities of food and alcohol. It’s really easy to get carried away at Christmas time, but too many calories will take their toll. Lifestyle change is about adopting a regular, structured routine. Don’t let a few days set you back.
Plan your training and ask a friend
Know when you’re planning to visit the gym or go for that run. Having a structure that you work to will help you focus on your goals, watch the calories and have a great and healthy Christmas. And don’t forget – if you want to be the super social animal this Christmas, you can even invite a friend along to train with you using our FREE 2 Day pass voucher. Click here for more information.
